Rangoli Workshop 2015

REPORT (Photos)
A wonderful morning was spent by the attendees learning techniques from the talented and experienced Devuben Samji Hirani covering aspects including;
  1. laying powder to design outlines
  2. filling space evenly in designs, and
  3. cone-work
Having had an opportunity to try these out the event concluded with a delicious array of snacks and savouries prepared by some of the participants. Thank you to all and especially Devuben for making this a morning to remember. The Executive Committee hope this provided some valuable guidance how to perfect your future attempts at winning designs.

We invite you to a rangoli workshop hosted by Devuben Samji Hirani. She is visiting Perth from Mombasa, Kenya and has kindly
offered to share her knowledge and extensive experience in rangoli design with us.

You don’t have to be an expert artist to learn this form of art. Bring your questions, try out some techniques and join us for a morning filled with excitement and an air for learning what to do and what to avoid in producing excellent results in your rangoli creations.

Materials will be provided. All we ask is that you bring a dish to share and enjoy after the workshop ends.
