Please take breaks from watching, reading, or listening to new stories, including social media. Hearing about the pandemic repeatedly can be upsetting. Connect with others, talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling. Don't forget to checkup on your family and friends to see if they are ok.


Monitor official warnings and advice 

The coronavirus (COVID-19) situation is serious and changing rapidly. The WA Government website  is the best place to find up-to-date and accurate advice and information.

Stay up to date with Australian Government  information and advice regarding the coronavirus (COVID-19).

You can use the Australian Government Coronavirus app to:

  • get important health advice to help stop the spread and stay healthy
  • get a quick snapshot of the current official status in Australia
  • check your symptoms if you are concerned about yourself or someone else
  • find relevant contact information
  • access updated information from the Australian Government
  • receive push notifications of urgent information and updates.

Our Samaj has nominated the Yoga Class on 24th June to celebrate International Day of Yoga 2018.

SKLPC Youth Wing and SKLP Cricket Club present the next installment of the hit family event the Amazing Race... we mean the Arrrghh-mazing Race. Thats right this time we invite you to sail over to Fremantle! It's time for your team to explore and conquer this wonderful part of Perth.  

Event Date: Sunday, 20th May 2018 
Event Timing: 8.30 am(sharp) - 2 pm  
Event Address: Meet at Fremantle Park (Ellen St, Fremantle WA 6160) 
Teams can only have between 6 to 8 members, with a minimum of 2 adults above the age of 18.  
Cost of entry is $10 per person above 10 years old (free for under 10's)

SKLPC Tutoring Services recognise the broad range of industry professions that exist within our team of tutors and within our samaj. We are proud to present the first of a series of Career Talks sessions to inspire the next generation of professionals! 

What to expect: 
Short snapshot talks by young professionals and university students with examples of work, photographs and insight into various careers

Who should attend: 
1. All tutoring students should attend regardless of age to be inspired by their very own tutors.
2. All students from the community are strongly recommended to attend with parents.
3. This free event is open to all SKLPC WA members and highly recommended for networking. Come along and show your support and encouragement to the aspiring youth within our community!
