
Ingredients
Caramel Sauce
- 6 cups brown sugar
- 1.5 cups butter
- 7.5 cups fresh cream
- 6 tsp vanilla essence
Dates Cake
- 90 Seedless dates
- 6 cups Milk
- 3 tsp Baking powder
- 6 cups Plain flour
- 1.5 tsp Salt
- 3 cups Oil
- 3 tsp Softened Butter
- 3 tbsp Milk
Method
Dates cake/Bread
- Add dates and milk in a pan and boil it
- Using a whisk occasionally mix it
- Once dates have mixed well with the milk , take it off the stove and let it cool down
- After mixture has cooled down, blend the mixture to a thick paste
- In a bowl add flour, baking powder, salt and mix well for a minute
- In another bowl add the grinded paste and oil whisk it together
- Add the dry ingredients little by little and mix it
- Add softened butter
- Adjust consistency by adding the milk
- Transfer into a mould , tap the mould for few seconds to remove air bubbles and bake at 180 degrees for 40 -45 minutes
Caramel Sauce
- Cook sugar and butter on low heat until sugar dissolves
- Add Vanilla Essence mix it well
- Add cream and mix it well until it thickens
- Sauce is ready to serve
