Mental health issues can affect anyone at any age, any gender, any profession, or race. Yet it’s still such a taboo subject.

It’s time to bring awareness to our community on how to support ourself, our loved ones, our friends or work colleagues from this challenging illness…many of whom may be silently and unnoticeably be suffering on their own.

This valuable 1.5 hour seminar entails a generic discussion on the below key points:

1. General Mental Health Literacy
* What is mental illness?
* What is mental health?
* Common types of mental illness and their symptoms
* Myths and misconceptions
* Risk factors for mental illness

2. How to stay mentally healthy
* Risk factors for mental illness
* Act-Belong-Commit strategies
* Self-care
* Positive self-talk

Please note that each seminar facilitates 40 – 45 attendees. Your reservation is essential.

Each FULL seminar will follow with a consecutive fortightly seminar.

Yes, we recommend 18+ years attendees.

2. Is there free parking?
Free street parking available after 6:00 pm.
